I have enjoyed caring for children in various capacities since 2010. From nannying for multiple families, to homeschooling, working at a wonderful preschool, to supporting kids who have experienced trauma and homelessness and/or are on the autism spectrum, I am passionate about seeing young ones thrive in an environment of safety, creativity, beauty, kindness and wonder. I have invested in 5 years of ministry schooling/spiritual development and in multiple nonprofits and community outreach programs in the last 10 years.

The model of forest school greatly resonates with me because I remember as a child feeling most free, connected, creative, capable and in awe when adventuring outdoors. And in fact, this remains true today! Nature has offered me a space to heal and grow in a holistic way, and she always has some wisdom to share. I am incredibly grateful! I hope to continue to learn how to love and care for the Earth, and impart that love and care to my children and the children around me. The Waldorf teaching approach also aligns very much with my beliefs because I have personally experienced the power of creativitiy, open-ended play and storytelling. Especially for littles, I believe self-led learning and exploration is a gift that will last a lifetime! With all of that said, I am honored to be a part of The Treehouse staff community and to have the privilege of guiding and nurturing the students here!

Outside of work you will likely find me happily cooking or eating, drawing, painting, eagerly reading, volunteering at a local flower farm, planning camping trips or wandering around in nature with my wonderful husband, our beautiful toddler and our sweet dog.
