In November 2021, my husband and I moved to the Pacific Northwest from Austin, Texas. We have a love for nature & hiking and wanted to live closer to the mountains, the ocean, and the lush forests. We found it! Shortly after arriving, we welcomed our son, Sequoia, to the world. We entered an entirely new adventure - being parents! It has been so amazing. I also have a passion for photography, healthy baking, gardening, and playing music. My husband and I have a band and played regular gigs in Austin.

After Sequoia was born, I found myself drawn to Waldorf style education. I have loved the emphasis on imagination and creativity. I value the process of learning about our emotions, and gaining confidence through rhythmic activities like chopping vegetables and making baked goods together. I also find importance in the appreciation of the Earth and her seasons. My exploration in Waldorf for our own home led me to teaching. For the last year, I have been working as a part of the administrative & teaching team at a Waldorf-inspired preschool in NE Portland. I have loved getting to know these children and their families.

I have an Associate's Degree in Kinesiology, and care deeply for Holistic Wellness and Nutrition. I have my 2nd Degree in Reiki, and am continuing to study and further my practice. This year, I will also be starting my certification in Somatic Trauma Therapy.

I look very forward to being a part of the Treehouse community and learning more about Waldorf education, the Forest School, and getting to know the children and their families.
