I joined the Treehouse family in March 2022 as the parent of our own little Acorn: Macklin. I was excited to bring our little one into a nurturing environment since we relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2021.​

I've been a nanny for individual families as well as regional childcare services since 2002. My childcare has always had a special focus on kiddos ages 6 months to 5 years old where I love to help kids discover which arts, crafts or sciences excite them. My teaching and parenting philosophy is rooted in mindfulness and helping kids feel empowered to move through the world using their whole voice.

I'm excited to continue supporting Treehouse and its families as a Substitute Teacher because I truly think it takes a village to thrive as a community.

For formal education, I received a BA in journalism from San Francisco State University but since then I have been trained and completed teacher trainings on "Positive Parenting Programs", "Welcoming Schools" curriculum and Gender Creative Parenting.

​

In my free time, my wife and I love to take Macklin on hikes or adventures to the beach. I also love to cook and you can often find me whipping up big batches of food for friends and family.
