My story at The Treehouse began back in 2012 when I started working as a co-teacher and music teacher. After teaching for a few years I began to help out in the office as needed and when we started a second location I was able to create the role I currently hold of Office Manager and step out of the classroom and fully into that administrative role. I was delighted to be in this new role as it allowed me to now focus my love and attention on our staff and also the parents of our community.
I have over 10 years of administrative experience working with both large and small companies. One of my favorite things about being the Office Manager at The Treehouse is helping to ease the transition into childcare for new parents by being organized, providing clear communication, and offering warmth and sincerity via phone calls, emails, and face to face conversations. I also greatly appreciate being able to support our staff in this role as well. I believe deeply in the community that The Treehouse fosters along with the earth based, creative culture it fosters for the children, their parents and our staff as well.
As of 2019 I began to work remotely for The Treehouse after moving to Spokane, WA where my husband is currently pursuing a graduate degree. When not working, I am most likely painting, writing, playing music, cuddling with my cats, enjoying a beer with my husband, practicing yoga, or reading at least three books.
